Write with Jen Thorpe: 2027 Novel Writing Short Course

Jen Thorpe will be running a 3-ish month long novel writing course next year, starting February 2027. There will be an in-person (Cape Town option) and an online option, with a little bit of overlap.
The course will run for just over three months. During that time you will get the following support:
- Three months of free access to all the Write With Jen Thorpe Substack content (including publisher talks)
- Four meet ups with Jen and your writing cohort which will include guided writing exercises to force you to sit down and get words on the page, as well as some general community building amongst writers
- Six opportunities to submit up to 10 000 words to me for in-text feedback
- Three online craft talks, with topics curated by you and your writing cohort
- An hour-long one-on-one chat with Jen towards the end of the course to talk about your project and where to from here
- A party at the end of the course to celebrate your achievements.

Cost: The course is priced at R14 000 per person. Preferred payment is up front, however should this not be possible contact Jen Thorpe to discuss payment terms.
