Two Sylvias Press 2025 Online Poetry Retreat

2025 Retreat Sessions Available:
- 30 June to 27 July (July Session)
- 4 August – 31 August (August Session)
- 6 October – 2 November (October Session)
Please Note: The material for each retreat is the same – so please sign up for only one session.
During this online poetry retreat, writing prompts, exercises and example poems will be sent to you via email. Do as many or as few of the prompts and activities as you would like. It’s a poetry writing retreat you can do from your own home on your own schedule. All you need for this online retreat is access to your email and some writing/journaling time.
The 4-week Online Poetry Retreat includes the following:
- Daily poem prompts and writing exercises written specifically for the retreat.
- One poem critiqued by your guest critique poet (July and August).
- One poem critiqued by the the editors at Two Sylvias Press (Kelli Russell Agodon and Annette Spaulding-Convy) for the October Session.
- Example poems and exercises/prompts emailed to you throughout the week (Mon. – Fri.). Sat. and Sun. are for focused writing and revision.
For the July and August Retreat Sessions, you can choose to have your poem critiqued by Diane Seuss, Danusha Laméris (August Only), Traci Brimhall, or Jennifer K. Sweeney. The editors of Two Sylvias Press (Kelli Russell Agodon & Annette Spaulding-Convy) will critique poems for the October Session.
This online retreat is private and does not include interaction with the other participants (unless you would like to join an optional and private Facebook group to share poems and your retreat experience).

Just The Exercises Package: They have had requests for a less expensive version of the retreat which does not include the poem critique.
