
The iLembe Book Festival (IBF) is a collaborative literary event that brings together readers, writers, and creatives from the iLembe District Municipality and surrounding communities. The festival features panel discussions, a school outreach programme, poetry workshops, and a slam poetry event, all aimed at fostering a deeper appreciation for literature and the spoken word.

- There is no entry fee, anybody can come in.

- 13:00 to 13:50 – The Future of Writing: Creativity, AI and the vanishing readers | Gentelmen’s Club: We speak and write to shake nations, patriarchy and masculinity
- 14:00 to 14:50 – Stories in the shadows: Reading crime, reading ourselves | Penning Destinies: The reality of Modern Publishing
- 15:00 to 15:50 – Beyond the Headlines: Unpacking Africa’s Challenges and Possibilities | The Women in our Lives: What we inherit from the women before us and how we transform or resist those inheritances
