Cranked Anvil Press: Short Story Competition

Welcome to Cranked Anvil Press’ NEW Annual Short Story Writing Prize. The competition is open to international writers aged 16 or over at time of entry. Your story/stories can be any theme or genre, and must be within the range of 1000 to 2500 words (not including the title). Entries must be in English and must be the original and unpublished work of the entrant. Please ensure you read their rules for condition of entry.
Prizes:
- First: £300
- Second: £150
- Third: £100
Plus guaranteed publication on their website, and possible future print anthologies.
The results will be announced on their website within twelve weeks of the deadline date.
Entry fees:
- £6 for 1 story
- £11 for two
- £15 for three
- £19 for four

The deadline for this prize is midnight (UK time) on 30th June each year.
