Cranked Anvil’s Flash Fiction Competition is open to international writers aged 16 and over. Your story/stories can be based on any theme or genre, but must be written in English and be a maximum of 500 words (not including the title). Entries must be the original and unpublished work of the entrant. You can read previous winning stories here.
Prizes:
The two placed stories from each quarter will be published on this website. Future anthologies will also be considered, published by Cranked Anvil Press, in which a selection of short- and long-listed stories from each competition will be published.
The results will be announced on their website (and in their social media platforms) within six weeks of the closing dates.
